For those who may not know, Nellie McKay is a long-time vegan and amazing animal (and human) rights activist, raising her voice for animals many a time and doing countless benefits for animal rights and social justice causes. She is also an extremely unique songwriter and musician. Some of her songs, like "Columbia is Bleeding" directly address animal issues.
