We are so happy for this chance to gather with everyone at Phoenicia Library, and get to enjoy great vegan food with/for the community (Vegans really SHOW UP for Potlucks!) Rebecca will be on hand to talk about chicken rescue and advocacy, as well as answer questions about them - their personalities, the challenges they face, their social needs and care. It will be a chance to see old myths busted, and to look more deeply at these beings we take for granted via a new ethical lens; to challenge historical assumptions that have been applied to animals in general. Come for the food, stay for the community and conversation!
